Hi Martin, In the past I have recommended your other site, Community Spark ( http://www.CommunitySpark.com ), on this site, as the best resource for domainers looking to build out forum domains or add forums to their sites. Thats where I found out about Female Forum. I think http://www.FemaleForum.com looks really good - difficult to fault really.

Good luck with it,

Thanks for mentioning Female Forum, Ray. How did you find the site?

Expression Engine was a great fit for Female Forum due to the way we could easily integrate editorial content with user-generated content. The templating system also allows a layman like myself to make a number of changes without having to go back to my coder.

Hi Domainchest, Welcome to Domaining.org.uk.

Self hosted sites downloaded from Wordpress.org are really the way to go for fast easy development. Out of the box Wordpress is not bad, but to optimize wordpress I suggest using a plug-in such as All in One SEO Pack. This is all easy to do once you get the hang of it.

I have been looking for quick solutions. Sitemaker is good, but they are flash temps. How well do wordpress based sites do in Google? would like to know. No point building if you cannot optimize!
