Well, it's two years on and this is the current state of play with three-letter .org.uk domains:

http://www.engineers.net/134/lll-org-uk-domains-41-still-available/

Plenty of opportunity I think, but the window is closing quite quickly. I see increasing registrations now of 2nd tier commercial/keyword .org.uk domains. Watch the space.

Hi Jeff, I'm not sure how many LLLL.co.uk s or LLL.org.uk s are left. In my opinion both llll.co.uk and lll.org.uk will be bought up within 12 - 24 months.

Interesting post. I do think there will be a buy out. However, the .uk market seems to avoid the wild speculation of the .com market, so I don't think we'll see such dramatic price rises in the .uk market for LLLL.co.uk as we have seen for LLLL.com.

Hard to say when the buyout will happen. Any idea about how many are left unregistered or the rate at which they're being bought up?

What are your thoughts on an LLL.org.uk buyout?
